A couple of weeks ago I showed a pic of little toy cars, but can't find where posted now. So here they are again with the new toy - a Skid Steer loader. Don't know what to do with the loader toy, just wanted to see if I could make the sliding cylinders and other parts. Did you use a jig to make all...

If I was needing a board x inches wide I would ALWAYS set the fence x inches from the blade regardless of what size the remaining part would be. If the remaining part was of a dimension to cause a problem, I would do as described above(move blade close to insert, then set the fence). I hate to soun...

Great job on the website and the projects. I got a side note question for you. I have a brick fireplace that goes all the way to the ceiling. It is about 10' wide. Can I put a wood mantel over the brick? Mainly over the part above the hearth. Maybe even some colums on the sides.

How do I rip down a board?

I have to rip a board from 3 inches down to 2 3/4's. What is the best way to position the board? The larger "remaining" edge against the fence or the "cut off edge" against the fence? I don't have a Zero clearance plate.

Mark, I made a couple of these some time ago as I wasn't impressed with the quality or price of the boxes available at the time. Only glue on the mitered joint on top and four screws through the base to hold the two bottom joints. Splines are decorative but structurally speaking not necessary in th...

I do have internet on both computers. I actually have TWO empty ports on the router.
