Re: US Government is About to Change Table Saws FOREVER!
Other manufacturers should be racing to bring to market competing saws to break this perceived unbearable legal monopoly that SawStop has. Where are their saws with AIM like technology, or are they just complacent? Bosch came out with their REAXX technology in at least a jobsite saw around 2015 or ...

Re: Large sheet material
Although my need to cut full size sheet goods has been infrequent in the past, I've been using tracksaw setups for quite a few years. First Eurekazone's system, with a couple of circular saws with added bases for the track, and more recently a Makita battery tracksaw on Festool rails; former bought ...

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig
John, If you are talking about the GRR-RIPPER original or newer GRR-RIPPER 2GO, then yes, assuming that you have the table properly set so the blade teeth are only a little above the material being cut, and the splitter should be at pretty much the same height, then there will be no problem as that ...

Re: Late xmas gift for my best friend
Nice EurekaZone setup. I'm sure your friend will forgive you since they are the best boy/girl and will appreciate your hard work making such a nice piece of furniture for them.

Re: Heritical Table Saw Question
Roy, That is a great idea and I forgot about those. He came out with a newer version of his design about 1-2 years ago where you drop in a compact contractor table saw flush with the top surface. RFGuy, I've seen other vids and forum postings of people who have taken the assembly table concept, but...

Yes vote here. I've also always had very positive discussions with RFGuy and find his posts generally insightful.

Re: Heritical Table Saw Question
CreekWood, I acquired a used 36" Sawstop 3HP PCS a few years ago, later added a cast iron router wing in which I put my lift and a 3.25 HP router. This is a sweet setup, strong, solid, smooth, comparatively quiet, etc., but took more than a few coins. It's also a bit unwieldy to move in my gara...

Re: Workbench Retractable Casters
@CreekWood,
Thanks for the link to the casters. The heavy duty ratcheting look like just the ticket for one of my CNCs when I redesign/enlarge/rebuild it and maybe also for a metal table I recently bought.

Re: Shopsmith purchasing advice
@MartinH, First, welcome to the forum. Having had a BT3000 in the past, currently a 500 (waiting to be converted to a 510) and 510, a 3HP Sawstop PCS, a Makita track saw, and a Makita miter saw, I'll toss out my thoughts especially on the sawing function and maybe give you some ideas. I too found th...
