Re: This feels akward/unsafe-suggestions

I have used a Rockler jig similar to the Woodpecker one shown by RF Guy. I have made hundreds of cuts with this jig to make roofing tiles and siding for the bird houses I have built.
The Rockler jig is not as fancy as the Woodpecker one but does the job. If I had the money, I would buy the ...

The Torch has been Passed, sorta

I haven' been here for quite some time due to health issues, and the selling of our house. The latter has caused me to sell most of my tools but one of our grandsons expressed an interest in the ShopSmith so it is still in the family. Then I found out that the rental condo we are going to has a ...

Nice Job!

I often considered buying one but never thought to make my own. Thanks for the idea.

A couple of new ones

My Christmas post mentioned that I had another music box to make and it was finally finished a couple of weeks ago. This one is similar to the last one but was made from oak and paduk. It has a picture of my G-Grandaughter on the front so I chose not to show that face. This one plays "You Are My ...

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig

Just bought one today, gripper 3D advanced. Have not put it together yet but look forward to trying it out.

Too bad they are no longer made in the U.S., but Taiwan is a good second best.

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig

Thanks for the feedback.

I have an opportunity to get a GRR-Ripper with several options on sale, though in $Cdn. it is still quite expensive. But I might just go and look at it.
I know Milescraft sells a similar product for less but I understand the Microjig is made in the U.S. so I would prefer ...

Anybody Using a Microjig

Are any of you using a Microjig with your ShopSmith? I have been considering one of them for some time and wondered if it was practical on a ShopSmith. For instance does it clear the splitter after removing the blade guard.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks
