Coupler has a set screw on it. Rotate the shaft till the set screw is visible/accessible in the slot at the bottom of the long casting. Pops right off. Complete details are included within the speed reducer instructions. The manual part number 845254 is $3.99.

iBox left over part
It is used to hold the small plastic wrench that is used to adjust the pin plate knob. Don't remember where I saw the shot whether in one of the videos of the iBox or just where. I have mine on one of the rear blade guard screws.
