Mark VII as a router table

Back to the original question. "Can the Mark 7 function as a router and router table? " Without a doubt. Now a bit of keyboarding and searches and a quick price on a router table and angle attachment is $400 and up. If you don't have the router another $200 plus and go fancy for a lift say...

Mk VII as a router table

While I have never owned a router table I believe they are generally limited to the horizontal. The attached is an example of the versitility with the table tilted. This is set up to put a 2.5deg chamfer on the edges of a cabinet door. While the double tilt is nice it is also achievable with the spe...

Mk VII as a router table

While I've never had a router table I believe they are generally fixed in the horizontal. Well here is another example of the versatility of the Shopsmith. The table is tilted so as to put a 2.5º chamfer on the edge of a cabinet door.

I Box review of sorts

Just got mine Monday Feb 2 2014. Put it together and made a test set. Not bad a bit sloppy but better than any other box joint with any jig combination I had been able to previously achieve. Spent an hour this morning during a ground blizzard dialing it in. Using a Freud box dado set stacked to cut ...

Sketchup 2013

The biggest difference between the two versions, Pro and the basic free download version is the inclusion of Layout which is very handy for printing two dimensional plans. If I remember correctly the "solid" tool set is not part of the free version. Basically the rest is the same. I upgrad...

Would I Owe Federal Taxes

Dusty, Paper Trail, excuse me. Cut up the CC cards, Close the checking accounts and the last time I looked the Greenback still has for Legal Tender printed on it although the paper is worth more than the money. Oh and some organizations and businesses no longer accept cash. Our society needs to go b...

Would I Owe Federal Taxes

The root of this discussion rests upon the fact that government, from the local level to the federal level spends it faster than it takes it in. Until that issue is resolved the thirst for every last penny we earn will never stop. Chasing cash is mighty damn hard, possible but the cost of chasing it...

notch in end of 33" board

Router and a template, cut the 1/4" deep notch on the sides and ends after the drawer is assembled, however since I gather the notch is intended to accept the drawer slide, the drawer back and front are usually sized to go between the drawer sides and would not need to be notched on each end on...
