I'm interested in the brand. I like the idea of it being a power bank too.
Thanks

Re: Fly Tying Desk
Looks good, that should make your daughter’s boyfriend very happy! I know absolutely nothing about fly tying. So should you have the photo opportunity, I’d love to see an action photo of the desk in use, loaded up with supplies. They took it home Thanksgiving day. I believe he liked it, he had it m...

Re: Fly Tying Desk
Well I don't know if it's better to add more pictures to my first post or reply to myself. Anyway I'm done. I'm pretty happy with my stain job, I know it's not a great match but I'm ok with it since everything is reused/repurpose/recycled. I bought 3/16x36" brass rod, cut it into 3&q...

Re: Recumbent bicycle repair
Found some interesting videos and I might try single piece if I had one big enough but I don't think I would want to try a mixture after seeing how air bubbles could affect the outcome. I wonder how hot it can get before it starts to soften. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Recumbent bicycle repair
10mm. The bearings were NBK6000Z. Picture 39 shows the lip on one side of the wheel and I never saw anything close to that on the web and I didn't know if it was really needed. I can't imagine I'll ever peddle hard enough to ruin the wooden one, the Jatoba is really hard.

Fly Tying Desk
I retired September 1st and I like it! I can go to my shop anytime I want, weather and wife permitting of course. :D My daughter's boyfriend asked for a fly tying station or desk and I had some salvaged materials laying around. We had a student desk that we picked up at a yard sale several years ago...

Recumbent bicycle repair
Wore out an idler wheel on my recumbent exercise bike and didn't want to spend $70.00 for a new idler assembly that was out of stock anyway. I may have used every Shopsmith I own. :) I reused the bearings that were in the nylon? idler wheel and everything is back together. I know it needs a new belt...

Could it be part of the SS Dial indicator set?cham-ed wrote:in the photo from Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:16 pm the rod shaped item to the left sure looks a lot like the plunge stop rod and the indicator for my PC 690 router.

Found a CMT brand also. Seemed to be in Europe.
