Re: Black Plastic Bandsaw Knobs

I think it has to do with sales outside the US. I remember asking Mike Young about a similar issue years ago. I can't remember the exact issue but it involved a safety issue and something SS changed for no apparent reason. That may have been the cover for the hubs on the left end of the headstock.

Re: Which to choose...?

Question #1. Leave the ring on. It's for spacing the saw blade and to prevent damage to the carriage if the headstock slides into it.
#2. Use a lightweight oil 3n1, zoom spout oil. Whichever oil you use, it helps if the container had a long spout to reach the oil holes.

What is spam?

A first time poster with an ON TOPIC link? Off topic link usually you don't see, because I disapprove the topic and ban them. Unless they come back after approval an add a URL. A large majority of the newbie's post in "General woodworking". I just learned today that if a URL is edited out...

Re: Accessory shaft out of alignment with beltsander after transport.

The one thing that is left is that it is not as easy to remove the bandsaw/belt sander as it was before. It was pretty effortless before, and now need to jiggle and lift more than I should...which tells me my alignment, while aligned...isn't that well aligned... Did ya wax the posts and hole they i...

Did ya align it when ya got home? I wood think just because it's aligned on one machine, doesn't mean it will be on other machines.
