one shot on the table

I chickened out and bought one on ebay tha had the work aready completed.

The table strut has ground down instead of hacksawed off.

Bolts on the support arms for the dust collector had already been tapped out.

My friend the machinist indicated that it was not a trivial task to perform.

Good luck

Ordered my saw guards in Nov 2007, finally arrived today! Do I have the right part to spin the saw blade?

I am using the SS as a turning machine, so I am almost ready to buy a large chunk of wood to start making saw dust.

Spare parts

I am in the process of rebuilding a 70's era Mark V. The only portion of the worktable assembly that survived was the table surface.

Going to SS for replacement parts is difficult because rear trunions are no longer made. I have gotten everything else for the assembly but that specific part ...

back orders and unavailable parts

The news is not always negative.

I have received shipping confirmation on my order, placed last week. The entire shipment is on the way - expect it to arrive tomorrow.

I'd much rather have a report that the parts are on backorder than to be told that "We no longer stock that part".
