Jack Bench
I have been considering building a bench that would adjust heights. So I wouldn't have to lean over as much, and I could use it to be an out feed or an in feed table to my SS. I have been talking with the designer and the plans should be done in a few weeks. Go to http://www.jack-bench.com and tell ...

Lathe
I have been using my 2 SS for several years now, but now I want to start turning. Friends tell me that SS is not right for turning. Is there any sites that show and talk about turning on the SS.

Storm damage
About 1 month ago, our area was hit by a very bad ice storm. To make a long story longer, every tree on my place has a lot of damage. Well I have a very nice cherry tree that lost every limb. So I am taking it completely down because tree experts tell me it won't live. Also I have 3 walnut trees ...

Drill bits
I am working on my second ever project on my SS. I need to drill several holes and my bits are old and dull. I went to Home Depot and Lowes and all they have is pilot point bits and I thought I wanted brad point. We don't have a Woodcraft or similar store in town. What is everybody's opinion on best ...

Switch more info
I appreciate all the help on this question, as I stated in the initial post the seller told me he had burned up 2 or 3 switches and reverted to a regular toggle switch. I didn't ask him what he meant by "burned up". Wasn't smart enough to ask till I read the other posts on here. But I will tell you ...

Switch
I recently purchased my third SS as it was too good of a deal to by pass. It was a 520 50 year anniversary addition. When I looked at it, the seller said he had installed 3 switches over time that he purchased from SS and that all burned up soon after installing, so now he has (I have) a regular ...
