Re: Does it matter if a foot long is not 12"?
Maybe companies should add ISH to all their claims to avoid lawsuits. Just think Subway could have avoided all of this mess if they just advertise a foot longish sandwich. Burger places could sell quarter poundish burgers instead of all this legalese about precooked weights etc. The world would be a...

This youtube download tool works for me. https://youtubedownloader.com/
Works great and it is easy to use. I do not recommend breaking any copyright laws.

Re: End Grain Mortising
This might be an option if you don't want to do the mortise. The brackets you reverenced are not suggested for new construction.

Re: Belt alignment
I suggest you watch sawdust sessions #23 - drive train rebuild. The video could help on several of your issues and it will give you a point of reference to discuss the issues you are having. It helped me with a speed control issue I was having recently.

Re: Difference between Delta G3 and Nova G3?
Good info. I will wait for the SS sale. Does SS only sell one model of the Nova? Will I need anything else for the nova?

Difference between Delta G3 and Nova G3?
Anyone know the difference between the Delta Industrial 46-461 Reversible Nova G3-D and a standard Nova G3? Can the delta be used on a Shopsmith? Also noticed a couple of different Nova G3 models 48232, 48202. Whats the difference. I know nothing about the Nova chucks. Since I am only going to ever ...

Re: Speed dial quit moving as I change speeds.
Thanks JPG you were right. I was actually lucky. Nothing was broken but the lock nut was loose and the gears were not engaging. Went to the sawdust sessions video on rebuilding the drive train and Nick explained how to put it all back together. I am back up and running again. Thanks again for your e...

Speed dial quit moving as I change speeds.
The speed dial on my 520 quit moving as I change speeds. The speeds seem to change OK but because the dial quit moving I don't have a clue about the RPMs. What is the best way to resolve this issue? What should I look for?
