Thanks for all the help on the lubrication of the jigsaw. With this information I have filled up the bottom of the jigsaw, and put a little in the top of it. Found if you put the lube in the top center it finds its way down your blade. So I will put a little down the sides, or maybe I just need to ...

Yep, the crankcase is behind the M plate- but you don't want to remove that to fill it any more than you want to drop your car's oil pan to change the oil!

The most inportant part is to lubricate the crankcase. The oil probably should be changed at that age. Take off the serial number plate und you'll see a large slothead screw. Find a small container, remove the screw, and lay the whole unit over on its side so as to drain the oil. Now set it up ...

Thank you Rob, I should be able to locate the oil, I will try at ACE first. Now how about where to lube it? Should I just open the door at the bottom of the unit and squirt some in and around? And the top? Just open it up and squirt some down into the hole that holds the spring? Or just lube the ...
