Entertainment center
Thanks for your kind remarks. I think I might have used different hardware, but I think it looks very nice as it is. I'm thankful he sent me the pictures as I keep pictures of all my projects, at the beginning, during, and completed.

Jewelry boxes
Thought I'd post pictures of the jewelry boxes I turned on my Shopsmith for my grand daughter. They were turned from one hunk of magnolia, the smaller cut from the inside of the larger one. (hate to waste wood) The larger one has a stained glass sun catcher in the lid, and a removeable tray, and sep...

No disassemble.....
The cabinet can be split into 3 pieces, (not easily, not recommended) but when he picked it up it fit onto my homemade trailer that I use for my motorcycle, so off it went in one piece. It is massive, 82 inches long. You have to have a big room for that. He promised to send me pictures when it's fin...

The owner wanted to finish it himself. The drawers are all dovetailed, front and back, the wood is oak, and all the moldin...

Heating workshop
Heating a wood working shop with any kind of open flame heater (i.e. kerosene heater) is a very bad idea. Sawdust is very flammable, and in some situations can be volitile. Many propane heaters with infra red grids can also ignite sawdust. The safest heaters are those labeled as "totally enclos...

Florida Shopsmith owners
Hi, I'll toss in my two bits worth, I'm in Orlando, Fl, have a 70's shopsmith upgraded to a 520, powerpro head. Also have a woodmaster planer-sander-shaper, bandsaw, drillpress, routertable, a Legacy wood mill, and lots of time to work in my woodshop now that I've finally retired. Bob

Thanks
Hi Bill, thanks for the information and the kind offer to help. All I have to do now is round up the money and the time to go get it. The round trip is over a hundred miles. Thanks again, BobF
