You probably trip a breaker. Check your power box. Also what type blade are you using and is it sharp?

the handle has a double purpose. It engages different nuts by moving in or out.

I have a 500 to 520 upgrade and like it. I believe the leveling of the tables would be exactly the same for both 510 & 520 moving verticle when both are properly aligned. To me the big advantage is the fence configuration and clamping.

I modified mine and had no problems although I gave it to my son for his 510 and I bought a new one for my 520. What your question? Do you have the sketch for the modifications?
