Thanks for the view and reply. I hope it does get some good use. The body-to-leg joint fit is good so the glue joint and screws will be just fine. The leg to rocker joint is not as tight because of the leg-to-support angles. The legs do have a transverse dowel that the screw will penetrate and hold ...

Large Rocking Horse/Pony Plan--Family Tradition Plans
I am beginning to assemble the legs to the body and to the rockers. Screw holes drilled and counter sunk. Any pros or cons to gluing these in addition to the screws the plans show? I don't seem ever having to remove these pieces. Other comments?

Strip Sander/Knife Sharpening Attachment
At one of the Sawdust sessions, Nick showed how make and use a knife holder for strip sander. He also mentioned a leather strop for really fine fninishing on the edge. Where to get or make a strop?
