Was this after the IOS 7 update? My compass app doesn't do anything (other than tell direction) if I swipe right, left, up or down.

I am still new at this so don't do things like running the BS with a saw blade attached. Guess I am retired so not in that much of a hurry. Anyway, it is just prudent to check things closely, and I agree some Locktite on the hub setscrews- not the arbor setscrews - would help.

Error - double post

I have had my PP jheadstock since 10/22/10 and recently I noticed that it seemed to be making more noise (rattling) than before. The noise seemed to be coming from low in the headstock so I suspected something near the motor.

Recently I added the double-tilt option, but ShopSmith didn't include the two holes (handy for holding the hex key) in the upgrade on the left end. It appears to be a cast part so wonder if it is safe to drill a hole in it without cracking it.

Any thoughts?
