Ok my replacement wedges, bolt and headstock lock handle is here.... How the heck do I insert the pin into the handle (that ties it to the bolt)???

Yay. I got the belt back on and mounted it to the way tubes. Started right up and changed speed good. Of course it didn't lock to the way tubes because the wedges were so marred--but I expected that. I'm just happy I was able to put it back together!!

Just measured my table. 13 and change by 18 and change. Guess that's a 500.

I don't understand--the main shopsmith page says the max support area for the 500/510/520 are all 22" deep !??

I purchased a used mark V (1985). The main table has some rust on the legs (where the notches are.) What is a good, safe way to clean this up. It won't come off with elbow grease alone.

(By safe, I mean--I don't want the table to slip in the middle of sawing something.)
