VERY NICE........IMHO there is no better feeling than bujilding a quality tool that does a great job from parts in your inventory. I never understood woodworkers that bought things like router tables, work benches and other tools that are things I think should be built at home ,,,unless you just don...

i heat with wood so I get a good fire goin and then start to put the chips in just on one side of the firebox. . Works great,,htis is in my shop so no mess to worry about

Yes I thought it was very different. Wish I could find another cone in the right state to try it again,,,,guess I got VERY lucky the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ponderosa Pine,,,,, and it was pretty tightly closed but brown in color. Very heavy too, but not very sappy.

I used wood screws threw the bottom at an angle into a wooden face plate. I also had one threw the back into the center of it. It's three pictures of the same piece,,,one of a kind I guess you'd say,,,,,,thanks for the kind words

Something you'll find unique I think,,,,

Not so much the shape of the turning,,,but what I made it out of. It's PINE CONE!!
