t-track on work bench

Okay, so, I'm in the process of building my wonderbench with t-track. I salvaged a few solid wood commercial doors and will use at least one as a bench top. Got any pictures of your completed bench with the track installed? Now that it's done, what might you do differently?

I've been watching the Maintenance and Alignment DVD from Rick Davis and see he has some sort of wooden shelf built/attached under his lower the lower rail of his SS to hold the sanding disks, lathe tools, etc. Anyone have a template or plan for this?

Thanks Doug, I enjoy reading about all the great projects. So, call me inept, but I'm having trouble finding detailed info with pictures/diagrams on maintenance. Can you point me to a specific post or web site?

A Good Start

Hi guys, I just purchased a 1970's era machine and am new to Shop Smith but not so new to woodworking. I want to get off on the right foot with my new-to-me machine and feel I need to look under the hood and everywhere else to be sure all is in good working order. It seems to run and look to be in v...
