Thanks JPG. That answers the question. I did not want to use one of those self threading screws if it was not the correct thing to use. Now I can get it all back together tomorrow and get her powered up

I just got the kit from Shopsmith to do this upgrade to my bandsaw. Have not had the time to get it done as yet, but will try to get it done soon and post some photos.
