For the ball end I bought a pool balls set made for children in EBay. They are solid, nice hard plastic and have numbers as a bonus. The size is perfect.

It is a little hard to say and photos from other angles may help.
To me looks like the cap cover for the unused end of the belt sander axle
Just my guess.

It looks like a jointer-shaper fence for 10ER
