A little help here ID animal?

Re: 8 inch clothespin plans

First cut of a design shown. Will attempt to build a 1/2 of one to see how it's starting to look, maybe pine, or if I have some scraps of hardwood that might work, will see. ScreenHunter 65.jpg Plans subject to changes as I go....... so if you decide to try this let me know how it works or just wait...

Got my springs today. Don't have the large size designed yet but I can show the large spring vs the standard clothespin.

Re: If you are interested in what looks like a good deal

The router arrived today, actually just as we were about to head off so the timing was perfect and the bright yellow Dewalt box didn't have to set on display for hours while we were gone. Don't want to spit into the wind or pull on superman's cape or leave tools unattended by your front door for hou...

Re: Spring time projects: Bird House Repair

No wrens for a while yet but wanted to get the house ready to put back up for when they do arrive. Should pretty much protect the hole from the squirrels and we will see how this works out.

Re: If you are interested in what looks like a good deal

I had not seen the updated listing. It doesn't look good for a couple of things I had hoped to get this year. Nothing shows up my list until June and the something else is November and no way to know if those dates are even close. May have to restructure my shopping list. Life continues to be intere...

Re: If you are interested in what looks like a good deal

The router that was due in yesterday is now due in tomorrow. The oscillating multi-tool arrived today. Had to go out and try it, works as expected but the high speed buzz means hearing protection is required, at least for me. The bare tool doesn't come with the depth guide which I really wanted so h...

Re: 8 inch clothespin plans

BTW don't order paint from them. The lady said they have not had any in months and no idea when it will return.

Got the 10 springs on order.

Does anyone know if the real thing was beech, well at least at one time??
