Re: New PTWFE
After reading the comments, I called and cancelled the order. Since it was back ordered anyway.I told them what was up and they seemed like they didn't know anything about it.

Re: Shopsmith Vac 4 in adaptor
For those that may be wondering why I have the interest in this adaptor I'll give some experience that I had. I have had Shopsmiths for over 50 years. And own about every SPT that Shopsmith has ever made over the years. As you know, they all have 2 1/2 in ports on the more current attachments. The D...

Re: Shopsmith Vac 4 in adaptor
I'm aware of that. But standard 4 in dust collector fittings are a tad smaller. And standard PVC pipe is to large. There was a fitting that was attached to the front using the four screws that held on the 2 1/2 in port fitting. I remember seeing a picture of it years ago. But can't remember what it ...

Shopsmith Vac 4 in adaptor
Has anyone have a picture of the 4 in adaptor for the DC3300 that was offered years ago? You removed the 2 1/2 in collector box and installed this adaptor. I have a extra vac that I would like to attach a 4 in hose to my only soul tool with a 4 in dust port. I know about the octopus that was shown o...

Re: Shopsmith Sharpening Gauge setting
I believe i figured it out. I wasn't spending enough time during the middle cut. I thought I would try it with the sharpening gauge. But I went back to the strip sander attachment. Better control.

Re: Shopsmith Sharpening Gauge setting
I'm having trouble posting pictures. It's saying it is too large. I know that's not right. I'll keep trying. This is my first time posting a picture.

Shopsmith Sharpening Gauge setting
For those that have used the Shopsmith sharping Gauge for the lathe tools. I am trying to get the correct angle for the 3/8 in gouge P/N 555028. The instructions said to use the same angle and placement for all the gouges, but being a smaller diameter gouge i am getting too much of a point. The large...

Re: Are you kidding Me?
I ended up rebuilding my old power head so I could finish my project. It is like going back to the stone ages, "Well not quit" after useing the Power Pro. It has been one month to the day that I have been waiting for my belts and You can't imagine how disappointed I am that I have to wait ...
