If you have a saw guard like the one in the attached picture (most 505, 510, or 520), you adjust the riving knife position in relation to table saw blade by adjusting screw pointed to in the picture. This screw sets the guard alignment to the blade.

The zero play miter bar by MicroJig does fit A ShopSmith slot. The MicroJig zero play is adjustable I am successfully using for a few special jigs

Thanks for your insights. I guess one upside to getting a special login code emailed prior logging into my Woodcraft account is like two factor authentication. I appreciate your response

Yes the video you linked is it, but my browser opened the same video too when I did the original post? I tested it in the preview mode before I published my post. Not sure why it is different now. I don’t post often so maybe I didn’t get it right somehow
