hobbies

Besides WW I also do stained glass work, also collect bear stiens, and playing cards. My wife and I also enjoy riding our 07 soft tail every chance we get. Also like to collect old tools like the 10e and10er that I own and have restored. Ilike to collect them as much as I like to use them.

I do alot of pen turnings, and small turnings, thinking of doing some bigger stuff like vases and lamps, I also do yard art, bird houses and feeders,coffee tables,book cases, alot of whimsical stuff like wind chimes, whirlagigs,old timey looking latterns made from wood and masson jars. what goes on in your shop

Ive owned my 10e for about 20 years and have used every function on it from making pens ,coffee tables, wind chimes,bird feeders, bird houses, I also do yard art, scrollsaw work,and stain glass that I incorporate into some of my wood work. If its wood Ill make.

sand paper finish

Welcome woodshaper. I would be interested in knowing how to turn using sandpaper. I want to get into pen turning, but I cann't afford the chisel yet.
Sand paper finish only works if the piece is allready round and close to the bushing size, the stars and stripes pen is already round so it was easy ...

er turning

I do all my pen turning on a 10e and I also have a 10er, would not trade them for the world. My 10e has a speed changer on it that comes in handy on certain turnings,and I also belong to the yahoo group, wealth of nollage and a great bunch of guys that can help with all sorts of stuff.
