My son is taking drums in middle school. I want to build him a stand to hold his music while he practices. Nothing fancy, just to hold the book at eye level. He will be sitting down while he plays. It is just the snare drum and not a whole drum set.

Great bird house.. I noticed your laptop project in the background. Was that picture during or after construction?

You should put little "X" or slash (like the no smoking signs) om them. Then maybe they will understand.

I like how you cut the hoses above the ladder.

I liked all the free plans they had offered.

When we finally got to the cache it turned out to be one of my brothers birdhouses converted to this purpose. Quite a surprise!

That's my biggest concern. If I take my boys out and we spend hours looking for the cache. It might be in plain sight, but I would be looking for something less ...

You too.. Easter has to be one of the least celebrated holidays, but the most important (next to Christmas). Not a lot of people go around saying "Happy Easter" like they say "Merry Christmas"... I was going rant, but thought better of it..

I was at the dentist with my boys. While they were in back I was reading a magazine (they didn't have no woodworking ones). There was an article called "Geocaching" pronounced cashing. You use a GPS to find containers, about the size of tupperware. They have tinkets in them. Then you sign a log book ...

I don't know. I kind of liked it. Especially the kids "story pole". I have 3 kids and moved 3 times. I could of used 3 of these.

I appologize now for the mess. My excuse is that I was in the middle of building my sailboat when my wife came out to the shop and said something like "Have you taken those pictures of your shop inventory yet. The insurance co. wants them today"[ATTACH]8346[/ATTACH]
