Thanks Bill...they look to be a good 1/8" thick or so. Does the spacer gasket on the quill ever wear out?

5/8 Arbor Question

I bought a couple used 5/8" arbors off Ebay for my Model 500. They came with rubber gaskets, but are too big for the arbors....

What are the gaskets for? Are they the one's that fit on the quill?
