I actually have a buffing wheel on it right now but you'll get the idea. I also but the table on backwards for the photo but once again you get the idea.

What does the crank on the front of the headstock do?

Sort of a cross between a 10 e/r and a mark 5/V! I gotta wonder if a mark 5/V tailstock would fit/work(I think it would). That table has got to be a PITA!

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I will post some pics of it shortly. It was greenie but I redid it in hammered black. New belt. Polished up all the accersorries that were rusty. Chuck. spur drive etc. I built an extension and got a live center for it. I am getting into pool cue building and this lathe ...

Any Mark 2 owners here. I need some instruction

I recently bought a Mark 2 which has been repainted and in overall sweet shape. I would like to grease up the bearings but am not sure how to pull the quill out without messing something up. I of course have no manual for this thing but it is complete and runs well. At high speed if the belt tension ...
