Let's see if this works. That is the tailstock, for the ER. It also holds the extension table, on the right end. (You can also use it on the left end, but just to hold the ext table.) You need a live (Bearing) or dead (no bearing) center for the tailstock.

You also need some kind of drive ...

Skip, the owner of that group has some current health issues, which is delaying your joining.

On the other hand, there are a few members here, that have real cast iron Shopsmiths, that would be GLAD to help you.

So, what can we (or I) do to help you? I've got 4 ERs and 2 of my brothers have an ER ...
