ddvann79, i'm happy with the sliders but wished I considered them before hand... The drawer sits up high so normal drawer glides dont work. I used brass L brackets as glides. If you didnt use them, the drawer rocks side to side. If I would have planed using them I would have mounted them differently...

Thanks for all the input. I am up and running again. I think wa2crk got it. I think the switch mechanism got too close to a wire and cut it. i made sure all the wires were tucked well away from anything spinning.

The other reason I was thinking this was something flying around in the motor is that all of the glue strips around the coil are broke as well. I will see if it could have been pinched when i put it all back together.

humming motor with no operation; my cure

This I think is an isolated issue but thought I would share with the forum. I had the humming motor of death with no operation. Took the belt off with same no operation. Reading the forum i thought it would be the capacitor, so i pulled off the back cover of the motor and this is what I found. Someh...
