If you still need parts please contact me. I just bought a ER today that 's in a lot worse shape than the pictures showed. I don't think it's worth restoring.

Re: 10 ER Molder Insert
Thanks for the dimensions Russ. The NTN Bearings I sell have worked out great. I've sold them for a few years now and haven't gotten a complaint yet. That's why I started selling them for the newer models of Shopsmiths. Customers asked for them, so I added them to the line. I don't know if I'll sell...

Re: 10 ER Molder Insert
I saw this one listed on eBay. Maybe it was shop made and not from Shopsmith.

10 ER Speed Changer Lubrication
I haven't seen this topic addressed in awhile so I'm bringing it up. A couple years ago I rebuilt a speed changer of a 10 ER. The owner contacted me and asked me to rebuild it again. When I got it the bearings were shot. Turns out the the owner didn't lubricate it correctly. He lubed the oilite bear...

ER Speed Changer
I was rebuilding a speed changer over the weekend and was hit with a question that I'm sure has been answered but I can't find it. Is the adjustment screw supposed to be behind the ears or in front of them? I know it works either way I'm just wondering if any has seen a original one that hasn't been...

10 ER shorty?
I was asked by a lady to provide her with the two 20" tubes for a lathe extension for the ER. Here's my issue. Should I cut the two tubes from 1 way tube leaving me a 12" section? Or should I cut 20" off two tubes leaving me a pair of 32" tubes? I could use a shorty ER. But looki...

Re: 10 ER Lathe Extension
I forgot about Scott. He and I had some great conversations. I wonder what happened to him.

10 ER Lathe Extension
I was contacted by a lady wanting a lathe extension for the ER. I sent her a copy of the extension .pdf file and told her I can help her access the parts. But I have a few questions. Was this something that was orderable from Magna? Or was it a design to be put together by the owner? I've never seen...
