Small staple removal

Its been a good while since I've been on the forum but I've kept watch. I searched for a simple tool to remove staples from the back of a curved front curio cabinet I'm refinishing but didnt like what I was finding. An awl left a scar, you can see it in pic #2, a screwdriver would have been worse. H...

Downloadable CAD

Anyone have a good downloadable free 3D CAD application they would like to recommend?
I'm very remote with crappy internet, thus the need for downloadable.
Only have a need for occasional use, so don't need anything too fancy.

Years ago my wive made me two denim aprons and I`ll wear them more than not. But never at the lathe. They have open pockets, big open pockets.
