does anyone know how long the bandsaw blade is? I need one but don't want to wait for shopsmith to ship one..

Just a thought... How about making the top and base of second set of lanterns out of a contrasting wood, like a nice maple....

This forum is awesome! I already found out the age of my 10ER. New question: The tailstock has a center of some type (missing the pin). Is this a morse taper type, or is it a straight arbor. How old?

I just bought a model 10ER, serial number 78666. I found a serial number chart, but it looked like this was built in 1981. It is obviously not that. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.
