Try finding the correct size E Clip to replace the original. I do not know of a source for the original Clip type that came on the earlier Bandsaws. I agree with John Burger about parts being changed over the years. Just not as picky of an item as not having a Speed Changer. I also found the non Shopsmith Miter interesting since I have the same hold-down on a Miter.
