Re: Sand Cast Greenie with No Inspection Hole
Thanks for the correction, David. My guess was off by half the actual size.

Re: Mark 2 Help
The link below is for the topic Shopsmith Large Format Drawings, Illustrations and more that can be found at or near the top of the Maintenance and Repair section. Everett has restored many documents for our use that can be found on his google drive at the link on that page. A restored Mark 2 Manual...

Re: Sand Cast Greenie with No Inspection Hole
Hi greg313, Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum. To add the oil holes found in most Motor and Idler Sheaves you would have to remove the floating Sheaves from their respective shafts. Drill a small hole and carefully remove any burs left inside the bore from the drilling. I am not sure of the size of the...

Jwillbrick,
Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum. The Gauge Collar is often up for sale at online auctions. I found some with the Gauge Rod and nuts for currently sale on ebay. There is a Gauge Collar for sale by itself but is priced way more than the Gauge Collars with the Gauge Rod.

Re: Mark 2 Help
The other listing for a motor mount is not a Mark 2 part but is the mounting bracket for a specific motor. The picture below is a motor mounted on the Mark 2 bracket. The bracket is attached to the Apron and note the motor mounts only by one side with two bolts. The curved part goes up into the Head...

Re: Mark 2 Help
Hi Spencer2598, Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum. I can help with any information about the Mark 2. That was my last Shopsmith restoration which is shown below. The picture does not show all the items that were included when new. _ 85959 Restored.jpg . Since they were not very popular, parts for them ...

Re: Upper Chuck Stuck - 10ER Jig Saw
I am not sure if the last poster, olivergray, is talking about the same parts since he refers to a "10ER Spring Cylinder." The alloy cast upper chuck of the A-34 Jig Saw appears, upon inspection, to be held on to the steel shaft of the Upper Chuck Assembly by a metal pin. I have not tried ...

Re: Hello from Wilmington NC
David is correct. As long as the Dado set can mount on a 5/8" arbor it can be used on your Mark V. Originally called simply a 5/8" Arbor Part Number 22 031 (top row 3rd from left) it later became P/N 505506 the 5/8” Universal Arbor and later called the 5/8” Molder/Dado Arbor. There have be...

Re: I Just Purchased 10E Number 143
You could try to get a set of the original Retractable Casters or use a different option. Mike used different casters he found and can be seen on his thread at the link below. Scroll down to his July 19th post which is on that second page the link takes you to. https://forum.shopsmith.com/viewtopic....
