Well I bought the SS belt sander for $175. It is in great shape and works very well!

Now, on the hunt for a planer!

Is $175 a decent price for a used SS belt sander claimed to be manufactured 1992 and have no rust and has the tilting fence.

I too use CA finish along with the accelerator.
I also use General Wood Turners finish and yesterday I used BLO and CA.

Oiling sheeves

Greetings,

I oiled my Mark V 510 a couple of weeks ago. I was not able to see the oil hole in the lower sheeve shaft. I used a screw driver to widen the spring and turned the shaft and never saw the hole. I went ahead a dropped a few drop of 3-1 oil on the spring.
