Re: New PowerPro DIY install Info needed

I just found the 2 templates on the shopsmith website($10.98ea.) but there are no pics provided.... So I am not 100% sure if they are the ones I need.
I have searched for the PowerPro DIY instructions also on the website with no luck.

New PowerPro DIY install Info needed

Hello, I recently purchased a PowerPro from a guy who installed it into a greenie headstock case. I want to remove this and install it into my 50th anniversary headstock case. Unfortunately he threw away the instructions and the templates along with the metal template for mounting the motor. Does ...

Re: Power Stand with a scroll saw trouble

With the help from a tech at shopsmith (a very.. very helpful lady) I purchased a Pulley bushing part#513891(I could not pull the part# up in my search). It fits onto the 1/2" scroll saw shaft and allows the 5/8" pulley to fit. Little pricey @$17.96, but it now works! Life is good!

Re: Power Stand with a scroll saw trouble

Thanks for those part#'s. Those are the pulley's I have and are meant to be swapped around from the tool and the motor. Motor has a 5/8" shaft and the scroll saw has a 1/2" shaft. Both pulleys are for a 5/8" shaft. How are you suppose to make this work on a 1/2" shaft?

Power Stand with a scroll saw trouble

I bought a power stand from a guy that never used it. I am having trouble understanding how the pulley fits onto the 1/2" shaft of the scroll saw when the pulley is made to fit a 5/8" shaft? The peson I bought it from did confirm he bought it to run the scroll saw, so it appears it is the right kit ...
