Thanks Ed that is what I needed to know. I have Incra table that i want to mount on pin router stand. I do dovetails and box joints on wide boards so I would definitely have to remove column for my idea to work.

I was given a clone bandsaw and the quality is very poor. That would make me question the quality of joiner. I would also think that it would be very heavy.

I just clean the tires with a toothbrush. I would not treat or lube in anyway. There are lots of sources of blades and you do not have to use shopsmith. Timberwolf are the best in my opinion. I have used Bosh from the big box stores.I think SS blades are better than Bosh but not as good as TW in my ...

I am considering purchase of a Stand alone pin router. My question is the column removable ? How is it attached ? Set screws ? I want to be able to convert to under table router and with my incra fence do long boards that column would get in way. My shop is too small to give up space for just pin ro...

I had the same problem and found it was my fence was not aligned with the blade. It was not off by much but it made a big difference.
