Re: EZSmart Universal Edge Guide w/ univ. base
Ed, I just order my UEG from the Eureka on 4/7/15. UPS sent me an email that they will deliver on Monday 4/13/15. My plan is to put a Magnesium base circular saw on this tool. Due to the weight. I also want a left blade saw because I want to hold the saw with my right hand and see the blade as I cut...

Does Shopsmith make a tool grinder, similar to a bench grinder but that uses the power unit as the power source?

We have been using the Kornerking unit for a few years already, in our kitchen remodeling business. We use it as a an option and Everyone we have installed has worked great. Plus, they are great folks to deal with.

Re: what dado blade should I get on a budget?
I have always used a stacked dado set. I have seen guys use the wobble set with good results but I inherited a 6" set from my dad and I purchased a 8" set for my grizzly table saw. Both work like a charm and I do need to sharpen both before next use.

Re: New Shopsmith owner
fitzhugh, Thank you so much for the warm welcome. You are 100% correct, this is the BEST place to come for information for the Shopsmith. I hope to get the Shopsmith to a point that it is useable for, as I said, a drill press, horizontal boring machine and a disc sander. I am on the hunt for a bands...

Re: Mark 5 Greenie 1954 Refurbish
I just purchased a similar machine and about the same age. I paid $150 for it in about similar condition. Everyone is saying I stole the thing but with the work involved to bring it back I just could not see $400.

I am new to this site, here's why. I am a Design/Build Contractor. Last Saturday I went to look at a job for a past client's son and new daughter-in-law. My clients uncle passed away and my clients son purchased the house form the estate at a very good price. The house needs some (much) updating for...
