I drilled a 5/8" hole to access to the tensioning set screw, also I dont use the blade tension guide. I go by flicking the blade with my finger to set the tension.

If you need that odd size pulley go here, he will fix you up, or get the speed changer off of Ebay.

Can you give us a Pic? I have seen ERs where the pulleys by previous owners where all put on/changed for for there what ever use/thinking!!

I think there should be an Er dedicated one, there are so many out there and so many restored and in use, not to mention that was what SS started with. My family has 4, all original bearings and motors, just some rust clean up on the tubes, and some clean up on the HS and wiring and on/off switches/...
