replacing speed dial and pork chop assembly.
I have replaced a few of these but ran into a problem. the shieve was stuck in high speed and the crank would not crank. The owner must have turned in while motor was not running. I replaced the larger belt thinking it was the problem, but it wasn't due to wear anyway. I had to compress the large sp...

Re: scroll saw update
In response to my own question. The part came today. I found the dowel press fit into the internal part and the hole in part allowed it to rock up and down when needed. I was afraid I would crack it putting it in so I ordered two. I also purchased to red safety switches for the power station and sho...

scroll saw update
Happy New Year all!! I am in the process of updating my scroll saw because the guy loading it bumped it and broke the metal tab that holds the metal hood off. He had already had the up grade kit but it does not include the metal clip with two screws that it attaches too. I had to drive the 1/4 inch ...

INSTALATION OF PLANER BLADES
I set these blades before and wondering if I took the cylinder out of planer and installed the blades that way because access would be easier would be a better way to go? Is it a big job to remove the cylinder and replace? Any one ever done this?
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Motor bogging down
Sorry if I messed you guys up. It is the 510 bogging down. I sold it to him and a DC3300 vac. We operated in on the same line at the same time. I do have a 520 with a power pro head but it was not involved. He still has it and will check sap if the extension cord was the problem.
Thanks all
Thanks all

Re: Motor bogging down
Thanks guys!! I will find out if the extension cord is the culprit or not next week. I have a power pro I have not even used so I know it is not it!! I purchased the 520 and power pro in almost mint condition and it is the holy grail so far. I do love my 510 and it is what I sold my friend and the D...

Re: Motor bogging down
I am wondering if I over looked the problem? It is on a long long extension cord and also had the dc3300 vac on at the same time? Drawing to much amps to maintain the power to operate at full capacity.
Thanks,
Tom
