Thanks all. Have already finished the tubes on five SS but couldn't remember the name of the stuff. Needed the name because I also rework tools for hand tool woodworking and sometimes want them to look better before paint or taking them out for use. Thanks again DOW

I could use a little help . I remember reading about some chemical that you could use if the rust pits on tubes where deeper than you could sand out. Paint it on then sand or buff off the excess. I want ot say it was called petrol? IF anyone knows what I can't remember. Thanks. Product name please. ...

I also have had the surgery done. I thought it was time when I no longer could read the road signs on the interstate. The big green ones. Now I feel much better for everyone on the road with me. Keep on top of eye care and we with new sight watch for little black floaters. Good for you John

Used to be called magic wading polish. Kind of a wool wading in a aluminium polish. Mothers Used by hand and buffing wheel where it will fit. TheBB reference because I don't like high polished tools.

What I Do
1. Clean parts with( purple power). Soap degreaser
2. Then use 240 grit ,Emory paper goto hi-er grit if to many scratches
3. Next polish wading
4. Mother, s mag + aluminum polish
5. Easy as stacking B Bs

A little to far for me 942 miles. Wife says no road trip.

There is a lower saw blade cover on ebay it comes with a 10er. Too far for me 942 miles I have one already. Wife doesn't want a long road trip.
