Re: Income Taxes - 2023
Turbotax got the final form finished, and from the time I filed electronically until the deposit was in the bank was 13 days. I got to keep $48.10 of it and the rest went to the state of Minnesota.

Re: Income Taxes - 2023
I took the morning off from work since I worked the weekend and did my corporate and personal taxes. Turbotax still doesn't have the forms ready to record my S-Corp income, but it looks like I'll be getting about $2k back from the fed and turning around and sending all but about $30 of that to the s...

Re: Large sheet material
Making a saw board for any circular saw is easy. I used one like this with a $49 Black and decker saw for many years before I eventually bought a track saw.

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig
I have two of the originals and while I generally like them, they aren't perfect. When working with melamine or pre-finished sheet goods, they tend to slip, but I seldom need to rip anything narrow from sheet goods where this becomes an issue. Mine don't have the little feet at the trailing edge to ...

Re: US Government is About to Change Table Saws FOREVER!
Sawstop did say they would license necessary patents on FRAND basis if the rule were to pass. Can you provide a reference for that one? There are several comments in the proposed rule document that seem to conflict with it. Perhaps the offer was made in or near 2003 when SawStop petitioned for the ...

Re: US Government is About to Change Table Saws FOREVER!
There isn't a requirement that the blade below the table if it can be stopped quickly enough with a brake. That is a feature Sawstop introduced and if I recall correctly, Reaxx improved upon by using only the drop method instead of a brake which preserves the blade. Combining a brake to stop the bla...

Re: Heritical Table Saw Question
They are shop build from Melamine and the doors and drawer fronts are MDF slabs. Frameless 32mm cabinet carcasses can be put thrown together in a weekend. Drawers, doors and finishing take all the time. the counters are particle board with sheet laminate applied. I was able to color match both the l...

Re: Heritical Table Saw Question
Chris, Nice!!! Very nice!!! :D Also love the wood floors. What does the acronym OCD stand for? Thanks. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I have a 3hp dust collector and 4 shop vacs in my shop. I'd say you could eat off the floor of my shop, but I don't allow food in it. The "wood" floors are...
