Issue with Jointer Blade / Fence Alignment
So, I've had a couple issues with my jointer, one being blade alignment, which I just took care of. However, there's another issue. The fence seems to be too far to the right of the blades, and when I make a cutting pass, there's about a 1/64th that doesn't get cut. Is there a way to move the fence ...

Just a follow-up to my original post. The bandsaw fence kit *finally* shipped out and was delivered this past Monday (2-10-2020). Three months to the day that I ordered it. I'll be setting it all up this weekend.

@JPG
I suppose I just don't follow you. Wondering where my order is two and a half months later is expecting "instant gratification"?
I'm not entirely sure who you are ranting at here.

Re: WTH is going on with ShopSmith (the company)?
I dislike the wait but it's not as if shopsmith is making money hand over fist. I always ask them what's in stock before I place my order. I get that. However, one would assume they have something in stock if they are going to blast out an e-mail "sale special" on it. :) And yes...I know ...

Far as I know...there isn't any "Chinese" version of accessories for the ShopSmith.

WTH is going on with ShopSmith (the company)?
So, for years now, I've had a Mk. V from around 2006 (got it in like 2014 or 15) and signed up for the e-mails from ShopSmith. Over the years, I've ordered various accessories and parts from them, and never had a problem. Until now. Back in early November 2019 one of their e-mails they sent out was ...

Re: New to Turning - how to sharpen chisels?
We also do some hand wood carving, so the Work Sharp will come in handy for that as well. I don't mind spending some money on good tools. I'll stick with the basic SS chisels at first to see what I think. Then I'll look into getting some better chisels and gouges if I like it. Now...should I get the...

Re: New to Turning - how to sharpen chisels?
Thank you for all the info, folks!
I decided to go ahead and get a Work Sharp WS3000 off Amazon today. If nothing else, it'll get me started. Gotta start somewhere, 'eh?
