looking up the specs. online the Mars 19550 relay is only rated for a 1/3 horse motor. Anybody have info for 1.5 horse motor relay?

60's vintage Mark 7, GE motor, also looking for start relay part number or the equivalent replacement part number.

start relay tested good with VOM meter set on ohms. relay was replaced a couple of years ago. Start capacitor tested "iffy" and slow. The after reassembly test started good both directions. Ten minutes later, just a hum. I am now thinking of the shotgun approach.

I took motorhead apart to find out why it would just hum without turning. After not looking at it for a couple of weeks, I checked the starting relay. I had thought it had failed. It is nice to know that aftermarket metal parts are available when the original plastic parts go bad. My thanks to the guys who figure out the machining. The speed control on my father's Mark VII is working fine so I will not fiddle with it.
