Thanks for the input. I was doing a little investigating and found a slight tapping or knocking noise coming from the spindle area. I checked the gilmer belt tension and it seemed a bit too tight, so I backed it off to get about a 1/8" flex and it caused the noise to subside and seemed to allow...

Thanks for the great advice. I have already gone through the head stock to clean and lube it all up according to the SS video series. I still need to polish and wax up the rest of the machine.
