What version of the 2 bearing quill is the best? I have a single bearing quill and was looking to upgrade

Did you have to drill new holes in the legs for the premium casters?

Looking to buy a DC-300 Dust Collector. Since it looks like there is a lot of plastic, I haven't made up my mind to buy new or used. Wondering if anyone has experienced the plastic becoming brittle ? Are the later models better/worse than the older ones ? What should I look for if I buy used. Thanks...

My 3-3/4" faceplate is aluminum (part #505590). It looks like the new ones are cast. Anyone know why the change or if I should have any concerns using the aluminum one? Thanks in advance Joe
