I was thinking of the tilt of the table being left to right (looking at the machine)

In this case I would figure the distance from the fence at the edge of the table to the blade is about 12 In

Does that make sense?

I am in the decision period of choosing between the Shopsmith and stationary tools.

The issue of not being able to tilt the blade is something I thought about.

Does dealing with that constraint mean that you just need to limit the width of what you can put a beveled cut on to the distance from the ...
