Re: 10 minutes to polish oxidized tubes.

I agree with Ed, I can find the attachment on amazon, but not the whole tool anywhere in the $80 range. Do you have a link for us?
Thanks,
jeff

Re: As I peel back early Magna (Shopsmith) History

Thanks again Everett for sharing your adventure into the history of the Shopsmith with all of us. I have to admit that I feel like a little kid asking "are we there yet", as I anticipate your book! Each tidbit is more enticing than the last. Your preservation efforts are appreciated by us ...

Re: shorting tubes

Dusty, What method did you use to cut/shorten the tubes? I have a single extra tube I would like to cut in half to make a lathe extension for my 10er. I do not have a metal cutting bandsaw, but I do have a sawzall reciprocating saw and an angle grinder...or...elbow grease... I'd appreciate your seas...

Re: Texas Booty

What a great story! Dawn's Father must be so proud that a tool, he obviously loved, still lives on. The hope all of us "tool guys" have is that our "babies" go to good homes!
Kudos Everett!
Beautiful and loving restore Dick!!!

Everett,
Thanks for the great picture! Like a kid, I can't wait for your book. Can I pre-order before you start writing? What an outstanding idea. Good Luck and Best Wishes on your endeavor!

Re: Putting things in a Shopsmith Context

Nicely done analysis of value Everett!!!
I paid $200 for my 10er in today's dollars or about $10-$20 in 1950's money. What a great value I got...
I can't wait to tell my wife. Maybe she won't mind if I buy another one to play with.
Thanks again for your conservation efforts.
