Re: How to Resolve a RPS State Error 0

This is a pretty old thread. I just got this error after 15 years+ with the Powerpro on a Mark V. I was intimidated, but the tube video showing the unit with the cover off was enough. I took off the cover, vacuumed the dust and Used pressurized air to blow into the area where the speed sensor is. Th...

Re: SAFETY HAZARD on Powerpro upgrade

After a month, still no controller. I have been promised a call back 5 different times with no result. Calling daily now. Who owns Shopsmith now?

I just called and got through quickly (a first), Unfortunately there was no record of my problem. They said th...

Re: SAFETY HAZARD on Powerpro upgrade

That’s easier said than done. After a week of waiting on hold, leaving voicemails and sending emails, I got a live person at 4:25 on a Friday afternoon. Hopefully an engineer will call back to get this resolved.

SAFETY HAZARD on Powerpro upgrade

Please help. I upgraded my 1960 era Mark 5 a few years ago. Made a tremendous difference and was worth the cost. However yesterday while I was using the lathe, I couldn’t stop the motor. I had to throw the main switch to get the motor to stop. Pushing the stop button jest made the screen go blank. I...
