Re: Another Day at The Office

It is so nice seeing these units come together. I hope you show them after the finish has been applied, too. They look awesome and I wish I had the skill to do the quality work you do (and your awesome shop).

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'

Here's another one, an early Yuba bandsaw in Kalamazoo for $100 that would make a great restoration project.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'

Cruising Facebook Marketplace there are some real bargains on Shopsmiths. This is one, just a little bit too far to drive, a jointer for $75 in New Castle, Indiana. Quite a few greenies for under $100, too.

Re: Introductions all around !

I agree. I have a "57 greenie I've had for over 35 years. Acquired a 510 last year and looking for a 10ER to play around with. These amazing tools are definitely addictive.

Re: Saw Guard System Retrofit Kit for the 500 M V- 505875

That looks like the same saw guard kit I bought. There was no cutting of the tie bar but I did have to drill and tap two holes in it.

Re: Calling for Submissions - Everett

Glad to know you and the family are OK, but sounds like life has caught up to you in a big way. I know you are glad to have your sons home again, and I hope everything goes well for their futures.
Also, congrats on the results of the Red River Rivalry. Bragging rights for another year.

Re: Anybody recognize this thing

That is a neat machine, but the double pulley setup looks dangerous. Thanks for finding and identifying it, Dennis.

Anybody recognize this thing

The lady said it was a Shopsmith but I've never seen quite anything like this on the forum. It is a curious piece of something though.
